Introduction to Stage Combat (ISC) is a fast-paced, three-week intensive program focusing on familiarizing students with the essential requirements for performing safe, effective stage combat. 

The program is open to all serious students who wish to explore this exciting and intriguing aspect of the actor’s craft.  Based on application materials, students will be placed into appropriate class groupings that will offer their best potential of growth and development.  All High School applicants must be over 15 and have completed 9th grade.  

High school or college credit (depending on current school enrollment) is available to all attending students.

Train in the foundation skills of stage combat. World-class industry professionals teach techniques in Rapier and Dagger, Unarmed and Broadsword. Participants will also be offered classes in additional weapon styles. At the conclusion of the workshop, students will have the opportunity to take Skills Proficiency Tests toward official SAFD recognition in stage combat skills. College credit is available to all attending students.
