	IACW Coordinator: Fight Master Drew Fracher Take the next step. The  Intermediate level workshop is designed for performers who wish to build onto their existing knowledge of stage combat. Participants will hone their existing skills and study weapon styles not offered at the beginning level. They will be afforded the opportunity to renew their actor/combatant recognition in existing weapon forms and test in additional weapon styles. The emphasis will be on performance and execution of technique. In addition, students will receive instruction in other stage combat techniques that will not culminate in a SAFD skills proficiency test. To apply to the IACW, students must submit: letter of intent have passed at least two of the eight testing weapons recognized by the SAFD, supply photocopy of current certificate(s). picture and acting resume stage combat resume.
AACW Coordinator: Fight Master Dale Girard Open to Actor/Combatants who are well versed in a wide variety of weapons styles used in film, television and live theatre applications. This intense workshop offers Advanced Actor Fighters the opportunity to challenge and hone their existing skills at a highly sophisticated level. Working with a small group of similarly talented individuals, participants will study an assortment of advanced weapon styles and techniques, exploring both their mechanical and theatrical applications. Practical application via scene work will be in integral part of the training. This is not a workshop about sword fighting; it is an acting workshop using the props of theatrical violence. Students will be afforded the opportunity to renew their actor/combatant recognition in existing weapon forms and test in additional weapon styles. To apply to the AACW, students must submit: Letter of intent Have passed at least five of the eight testing weapons recognized by the SAFD, supply photocopy of current certificate(s). The Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. scholarship covers a full tuition, while the Patrick "Paddy" Crean and Ian McKay scholarships cover half tuition each.
