| Colleen is Director of Education and Research at the American Shakespeare Center. She taught at USD/Old Globe, UVA and was Resident Fight Director and Head of the MFA Program at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. She is a Founding Board Member of the Association of Theatre Movement Educators and a Past V.P. of the SAFD. Professional credits include director, actor, fight director, dance choreographer and movement coach for theatres such as American Shakespeare Center, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Denver Center, Milwaukee Rep, Old Globe Theatres, La Jolla Playhouse and Dallas Theatre Center. Film credits include fights for Absalom, Absalom! and dances for the film Sommersby. Publications include: "Figuring the Fight: Recovering Shakespeare’s Theatrical Swordplay" in Theatre Symposium. . |
