Gregg is a Professor of Acting and Stage Combat at Christopher Newport University in Virginia.  He received his M.F.A. in Acting from Western Illinois University, a B.A. in Communications/Theatre from North Central College, and holds Black Belts in Hapkido and TangSooDo.  As a professional actor and fight director, Prof. Lloyd has worked around the country, from Chicago to Dallas and from the east coast to the Mississippi, in all types of venues including regional theaters, rep companies, amusement parks and Medieval Times.  His recent acting credits include Romeo and Juliet, Anything Goes, Comic Potential, Sunday in the Park with George, Ragtime, A Little Night Music, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Communicating Doors, and The Trial of Hamlet.  Fight direction credits include Actus Fidei, Romeo and Juliet, Our Country’s Good, I Hate Hamlet, ‘The Scottish Play’, Cabaret, and Guys and Dolls.  He has also directed Be Aggressive and Talk to Me Like the Rain and I Will Listen for TheaterCNU.
