Heidi began her stage combat training in 1990 at Richard Lane’s Academy of the Sword in the CA Bay Area.  After moving to Seattle, WA, she resumed training in 2000 at Freehold Theatre Studio Lab with Geoffrey Alm.  She served as an intern at the 2004 NSCW West and the 2007 NSCW East, has coordinated numerous stage combat activities in Seattle, and was a local rep for the Seattle area of the Northwest Region from 2005-2007.  She is currently assisting in classes at Cornish College of the Arts and the University of Washington’s Professional Actor Training Program.  Heidi recently completed a five-year term on the Board of Directors of Macha Monkey Productions, a Seattle-based theatre company.  She is working on her teacher certification in Usui Reiki and continues to train in stage combat, Suzuki and Viewpoints, and Yang style Tai Chi.
