The Curse of the Glossary

We're knee deep into the Membership Representative reports. Right now, we are discussing the creation of a task force to peruse and review the Glossary of Terms with a preference towards the simplification of definitions. Any definitions jump out at you members? Oh, and D.C.'s officially been sworn in. And it was classic. Ask him about it when you get the chance.

Glossary of terms task force

Can we PLEASE refer to a broadsword as single-handed, and call the two handed version a Longsword, which is what it really is?

I'd like to be on that

I'd like to be on that Glossary Task Force. MJ

re: definitions - ask Ted

re: definitions - ask Ted about his pet project, the glissade vs the pressure glide/froissement. And for god's sake, do we NEED a thwart AND a zone? Can we streamline those? XO JC

Glossary

Curious... will the glossary include firearms terms now as well?

The taskforce for this

The taskforce for this particular area is going to be charged with reviewing existing definitions within the glossary. While we are considering definitions pertaining to firearms training, those will most likely be handled by the Firearms Safety Taskforce, which we are in the process of finalizing. Thanks for keeping up with us.
