I noticed a discrepancy in my online SPT training history. How do I get that corrected?
We entered more than 340 SPT events, with more than 4,000 test records. With so many records involved, we are aware that there was room for error in the process of converting and entering old data into the new system. SPT's that are not submitted through the online process (those that are mailed to the SAFD by the CT/Adjudicator for your training event) can take up to six (6) weeks to process.
Among other possibilities, there may be instances where an SPT record might be missing or incorrectly recorded:
- Your membership has expired. You can pay your membership dues by visiting: http://www.safd.org/membership-renewals
- You created a site account on SAFD.org that is not linked to your membership records
- You changed your name or used multiple variations of the same name
- The test occurred before January 1st, 2008
- You did not complete the test, or you did not receive at least a "Basic Pass" for a test taken
- There was an error in recording your results
- The SPT was not submitted to the SAFD by the CT/Adjudicator sponsoring the event
- The SAFD did not receive payment in full for the event
- The test was not certified by the Adjudicator
In order to provide a consistent process to research, correct, and respond to any discrepancies you may discover, please login to your SAFD.org site account, and then complete our SPT Student Record Inquiry form. Please do not email us with questions about SPT's you have taken in the past. Direct emails just delay the process. Instead, use the above form. It contains all of the information we need to properly research your concern and provide the quickest answer possible.
