Honorary Member Anthony DeLongis reports: Mary and I just got back from a spanish rapier and gypsy fighting knife seminar in Spain with the Maestros Martinez and Sifu James Loriega and immediately shot a short film here at the ranch before dashing off last week to teach at Karate College in Virginia (they also presented me with my Godan (5th degree Black Belt) in Goshin Ju Jitsu, a great honor and an unexpected surprise. Here's the link to a terrific article about my 2 hour improvised weapons performance at Karate College last week in Virginia. I thought you and the team would approve of my appreciation for scholarship and research.

Today I'm busy editing film with co-writer and acting partner Kendall Wells to have it ready for the Action On Film Festival July 23-30 (I'm receiving the Dragon Award for excellence in action and martial arts choreography and performance). Good story and dialogue, action with horses and swords and gorgeous production values thanks to our mountain top ranch location. DP Mike Shu, sound artist Rick Thornsberry and my pal composer Chris Lowery just came on board to do the music. I'm a very happy film maker.

I've been invited to teach an advanced sword and weapons seminar in Ireland from Aug 2-11 with a troupe of professional stage and film fighters in Dublin. Mary and I will be teaching a group of pros wanting to add finesse and variety to their weapons skills, seeing a bit of the country and adding Ireland to the list of 11 countries on 5 continents where I've ridden horses, literally a dream opportunity. It will also give me a chance to hone my Irish accent to a fine professional edge.

I hope you get a chance to play RED DEAD REDEMPTION and bring justice to the wild west riding with my character Marshal Leigh Johnson. I had a great time doing both the voice and the performance capture. When are we going to do a live action western?
