Alex has directed fights for The McCarter Theatre Center, The Wilma Theater, The Actors Theater of Louisville, The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, The Philadelphia Shakespeare Festival, The Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre, The Three Rivers Shakespeare Festival, The Lantern Theater Company, Theater Exile, Inis Nua Theater Company, Philadelphia Artists Collective, New City Stage Company, The Arden Theatre Company, Philadelphia Opera Company, Freedom Theater, The Prince Music Theater, Jennerstown Playhouse, The Merriam, The Arts Bank, Philadelphia Area Rep Theater, Forensic Files on TRU TV, and others. Alex has directed numerous fights for Philadelphia area dance companies and colleges.

As a teacher, Alex has worked with the University of the Arts, Temple University, Arcadia University, The University of Delaware, Two River Theater Company, The Pittsburgh Playhouse, The Act One Theater School, and The Loomis Chaffee School. Alex is also an instructor for the Philadelphia Cheesesteak Stage Combat Workshop.

Alex is a two time Barrymore Award Nominee, was featured on The Discovery Channel’s Project Discovery Series: Day in the life of a Fight Director, and his choreography is on file at The Lincoln Center in New York.
