Profile for
In Chicago I have lived a life immersed in theatre. I work with my hands to create safe stage combat weapons for schools, individuals and theaters around the world with Rogue Steel. I have been engaged in over 60 productions working as a fight choreographer, actor, director, stuntman, dancer, and even a sound designer. I have dealt with the business of theatre as a company member of established institutions such as Imagination Theater, Halcyon Theater, Matter Dance Company and La Costa Theater Company. I founded Fight Jam Chicago, a donation based monthly workshop that has introduced over 100 theatre artists to the joy of stage combat (www.fightjamchicago.com). Furthermore, I Co-Coordinate the largest stage combat workshop in North America, the Winter Wonderland Workshop, and have served as Assistant Teacher to Neil Massey at Roosevelt University for three years. I have also taught at the Cease and Desist (formerly March Madness) Workshop as well as serving as an intern there and at the Virginia Beach Bash.
