Michael has been a member of the SAFD since 1990 and a Certified Teacher since 1992. He is a member of AEA and SAG. He is Professor of Theatre at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA, where his teaching responsibilities include Acting (Meisner), Directing, and Stage Combat. He also serves as the On-site Coordinator for the Virginia Beach BASH, the SAFD sanctioned regional workshop in residence at Regent University each spring. He has staged fights and taught all over the US, and in the UK at such prestigious institutions as the Birmingham School of Acting and has team taught at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Selected venues include: the Houston Shakespeare Festival, the Houston Shaw Festival, Houston Grand Opera, the Houston Grand Opera Studio, University of Utah, the Park City Shakespeare Festival, PA Stage, Capitol City Playhouse--Austin, New Stage Theatre, Millsaps College, Muhlenberg College, Kutztown University, Regent University, Hampton University, University of Michigan, Oklahoma University, Virginia Music Theatre. Michael regularly directs at Regent University where he and Fight Master Richard Ryan recently teamed up on very well received production of Ken Ludwig's THE THREE MUSKETEERS.
