Chloe Whiting Stevenson is a performance artist, instructor, and storyteller currently based in the midwest. She holds an MFA in Physical Theatre from the Accademia Dell'Arte in association with MUW, an MA in Theatre from Illinois State University, and a BA in Theatre and Speech Communication from Siena Heights University. She is a certified 200 hour RYT yoga instructor and a certified Level I Elemental Body Alignment (EBAS) instructor. Chloe has trained and worked across the United States of America, Italy, Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Wales, Turkey. and Nicaragua. Her specialties include Butoh dance, Commedia Dell'Arte, Mask work, Devised Theatre, children's theatre, and teaching and performing circus arts including silks, lyra, static trapeze, partner acrobatics, tumbling, and fire eating. Chloe has performed in association with Familie Flöz, Divadlo Continuo, Spazio Flic, and the ADA. She has taught classes at colleges and universities including Movement for the Actor, Acting, Intro to Theatre, Dramaturgy, Film, Modern Dance, and Tech Theatre I. Chloe has a passion for human bodies in motion, communication, and teaching. It is her hope that her work leaves a visceral reaction with audiences long after the conclusion of a performance that leads to communication and thought.
