Addison Debter is a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, AL, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance with a minor in Film Production. During his attendance, he appeared in fourteen main stage productions including the titular role in MACBETH, while also appearing in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe as George Gibbs in OUR TOWN. 

Following graduation, Addison trained with SAFD Fight Directors Jack Young and Adam Noble in the University of Houston's Professional Actor Training Program. It was during this time that he began deeply pursuing stage combat and weapons training. In his final semester, he played Hamlet in Tom Stoppard's ROZENCRANTZ & GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD. As of the spring of 2018, he is certified in six of the eight weapons offered by the SAFD.
