Certified Teacher, Theatrical Firearms Instructor
Kevin is an Assistant Professor of Movement, Acting, and Stage Combat at Case Western Reserve University, having previously taught at the University of Wyoming, the College of William & Mary, Christopher Newport University, and Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a SAG-AFTRA actor and stuntman, Certified Teacher of stage combat, and a published author. He is certified as an instructor of the SAFD Theatrical Firearms Safety course as well as the general core weapons disciplines, and runs a prop weapons rental business providing prop firearms, swords, and more for both stage and screen. He's published The Theatrical Firearms Handbook (2014) and The Screen Combat Handbook (2020), a chapter in Physical Dramaturgy (2018), and several articles for The Fight Master.
Kevin has been providing his services as fight coordinator, actor, combatant, gun wrangler, and armorer with his company Fight Designer, LLC for almost 20 years, on both coasts and in between. He regularly works now with Cleveland Playhouse, Karamu House, Dobama, and other theatres, and offers workshops around North America.
