Zane Whitney (pronouns not set)

Zane A. Whitney Jr. has a Professional Training Program Certificate from Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre, and is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre with an emphasis on Performance. Zane performed extensively both at SFA and Dell'Arte. His acting credits in the DFW area are with The Stolen Shakespeare Guild. He performed Snug the Joiner in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Oswald in The Birth of Merlin, Gaoler/Clown in The Winter's Tale, and most recently Harry the Horse in Guys and Dolls. His technical credits are extensive and are scattered over the DFW area. He has worked primarily with The Dallas Children's Theater as a stage hand, light hang crew, follow spot, Production Assistant, board operator, Intern, and was recently the National Tour Stage Manager for the production of Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters. He was Stage Manager and Lighting Designer for three productions with Park Cities Dance/The Dallas Conservatory at the Dallas City Performance Hall. He also was a technical consultant/light plot designer for Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD's One Act Play contest for Zone A and B, and District. His Stage Combat/Choreography credits include A Raisin in the Sun SFASU, Woyzeck SFASU, and The Birth of Merlin SSG, among others.
