Samuel is a double major BA student at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth Texas. He is pursuing degrees in both Theatre and German Language Studies. Sam continues to study and discover historical martial arts from around the world in order to learn from them and incorporate them into the stories we tell through every medium from classical theatre to motion capture and animation. Combining his two interests, his favorite weapon to research and fight with is the Longsword, a uniquely German art weapon giving him the opportunity to use his knowledge of the language and culture to gain a deeper understanding of the weapon and its application to historical and theatrical martial arts.
